5/27/16
While visiting my brother in Seattle, we decided to squeeze in a hike while driving back from an overnight trip to Vancouver. After reading a few blogs and hiking websites, I came across Goat Lake in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest area.

Iceland: August 2015 Part Two
Road Trip!
We hiked back to the Bus Hostel Sunday morning to pick our rental car from Route 1 rental. Worked out to be about $70 USD a day for a Toyota Yaris. Most of the rental cars are manual so if you can't drive stick, you have to hunt for one. Thankfully Josh could drive one.

Iceland: August 2015 Part One
Pre-Trip
Wow Airlines had a pretty good sale on flights to Iceland back in January and I recently read about the Laugavegurinn trail in Backpacker and decided that would make a pretty awesome trip. I bought my ticket and started asking friends to see who wanted to go with me.

Old Rag Sunrise hike
8/1-2/15
After an unexpected change of plans to do the White Oak Canyon to Stony Man Mt to Old Rag loop, I decided to do a sunrise hike of Old Rag after a wonderful day of drinking IPAs.
I also wanted to do a shake down hike before I heading to Iceland to backpack the Laugavegurinn trail and test out some of the Peak Design camera equipment that conveniently came in right before I left.

**I originally did this review on BPL on 3/14**
I recently purchased the 20* Marcy quilt from Mid-Atlantic Mountain Works. Mid Atlantic Mountain Works is a new cottage vendor based out of DC and run by a guy named Jared.
